How long have you been doing photography?
I studied photography at TUT from 2001 - 2003 and started my photographic career in 2004.
How do we find out more about the packages that you offer?
You can contact me through the contact form on my contact page.
How do we secure a booking with you?
You have to fill in the form I supply with the packages and email it back to me. After that you have to pay the 50% booking fee. The balance is due a week before the shoot.
I/we feel uncomfortable in front of the camera and unsure of what to do.
Don't worry! I will direct you and tell you what to do and how to stand. I also allow for some candid/unposed shots in between. We all love natural looking photos.
Do we have to seat you at a table with other wedding guests?
No, we don't mind sitting with other suppliers. We just want a place to sit and have something to eat after being on our feet the whole day. But we will be taking photos most of the time anyway.
Do you make use of an assistant/second shooter?
Yes! I need someone to help with the equipment and take some backup shots.
We don't want a coffee table book right now, can we order one at a later stage?
Definitely! Getting the perfect photos are the 1st and most important step. After that you can order as many coffee table books, prints, canvas prints etc. as you like.
Why can't we get all the RAW/unedited photos?
I pride myself in my business and you pay me to give you the best, which includes editing in my own style and adding the final touches.
How long after the wedding will we get our edited photos on disc?
About 4 - 6 weeks.
Will you go to the venue with us before the wedding to discuss the detail?
It depends on my availability and if the venue is within reasonable distance but it shouldn't be a problem.
How much time do we need for the couple photos?
A minimum of an hour
When is the best time for the couple photos?
Before the ceremony gives us enough time for the photos and your guests don't have to sit around and wait for you. You also get time to relax and spend time with your guests.
After the ceremony is the best time for sunset photos and beautiful light.
What if it rains?
We make a plan! If the venue allows it we can shoot indoors, on balconies, porches etc. If it's only raining lightly and you are up to it, we are more than willing to shoot in the rain.
